I can’t walk into a bookshop. Not with money. Is not healthy for me.

Whenever I go to buy something specific, I end up with three or four books, none of which is the one I actually wanted to buy.

I have four goals on this matter. Let’s see which one I’ll finish first;

  • Buying all of Shakespeare pocket books

In Portuguese, of course. I always found amusing when people in TV shows complained about reading Shakespeare, because is not so hard in Portuguese.

Then, I read Much Ado About Nothing. Original.

My head still aches from the memories.

  • Reading (and having) all of Jane Austen’s novel. English and Portuguese

I bought Emma in Portuguese two days ago. I already have Pride And Prejudice, also in Portuguese, and in English I have Emma and Mansfield Park. Unlike Shakespeare’s plays, I hate reading her books in the computer.

  • Getting Neil Gaiman’s books, including “graphic novels”

I just want to laugh at this term. Graphic novels. No idea why. Anyway, I have Good Omens and Fragile Things in English. The first was written with Terry Pratchett, and a lot is missed with the translation, and the latter has The Day The Saucers Came. I saw it and bought it. But the rest I’ll buy in Portuguese, the translation is very good. But I read most of them in the computer.

  • Anything by Terry Pratchett

After I read Good Omens, I needed to read something he wrote alone. I actually downloaded all of his books from Discworld, but I’m hoping to get my hands in an copy before I have to give in to e-books. They’re useful, but they’re not the same.

Honestly, this is the most difficult one. I’d have to buy it from Amazon or something, and I don’t have the card to do so. :(
